The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum features rotating exhibits on the many facets of flight and modes of flying transportation. "How Things Fly" deals with the mechanism and the physics of flight.
A cut away of a Cessna plane provides visitors with a firsthand cockpit experience. Throughout the exhibit, flight theories were illustrated by graphic plaques and working models. Controlling the traffic flow and pace was key to the success of this space. |
